Hands-on Workshop on Next-Generation Sequencing and Data Analysis of Viral Pathogens

Served as a trainer during the three-day workshop and led a practical session on command-line bioinformatics and sequencing-data analysis. The session focused on working directly with viral NGS data, understanding the analytical workflow, interpreting outputs, and building confidence for independent analysis.

Polio Sequencing Consortium meeting

Participated in four days of technical exchange focused on direct detection by nanopore sequencing for poliovirus surveillance. Discussions covered stool and environmental-surveillance workflows, quality assurance, laboratory implementation, data quality and reporting, bioinformatics, pipeline development, experimental planning, and troubleshooting.
