Hands-on Workshop on Next-Generation Sequencing and Data Analysis of Viral Pathogens

I contributed practical instruction on command-line bioinformatics and sequencing-data analysis at the Department of Virology, National Institute of Health, Islamabad.

The workshop connected analytical outputs, quality review and public-health interpretation. My contribution focused on helping participants build confidence with the command line and review their work independently.

Teaching is an ongoing part of my work. Alongside workshops, I mentor laboratory staff and trainees and develop practical learning material for people moving into bioinformatics.
