About

Pathogen genomics across bench, code, and public-health action.

I work at the interface of molecular virology, sequencing, environmental surveillance, and public-health bioinformatics, turning clinical and wastewater samples into interpretable genomic evidence.

My current work at the National Institutes of Health Pakistan includes poliovirus environmental surveillance, Oxford Nanopore and Illumina workflows, quality review, reproducible analysis, SOPs, and rapid reporting. I also build public-safe repositories and training materials that make surveillance methods easier to audit, reuse, and teach.
